Perhaps it was Balmain’s Michael Jackson inspired Spring 2009 RTW collection with hoards of metal studded black leather and denim strutting down the runways that started this obsession. No matter who started the trend, the metal addiction continues to have a very strong presence in fall collections. YSL and Jean Paul Gaultier both presented heavy metal leather with studs detailing on the collar, shoulders, belt and lapel. The perfect coats for this fall whether you are going to see your favorite death metal band or out for an afternoon stroll. Louboutin was truly inspired this year and has produced an all over studded platform peep toe pump- there is no doubt this shoe will be all over red carpets and the streets.
