Louis Vuitton, or LV, as it is often referred to by people who know fashion, is one of the oldest fashion houses in the world. Their products are one of the most basic necessities in any fashion-conscious person’s wardrobe.
Since Audrey Hepburn was seen carrying it in a 1963 movie, Hollywood stars have become some of the greatest LV enthusiasts and collectors. Scarlett Johansson helps promote LV in their advertising campaign, and glamour women like Angelina Jolie who are fans of this brand are all over the fashion magazines. Their immortal logo has proved to be an indulgence that men and women alike can not resist, a true symbol of opulence. When Marc Jacobs joined Louis Vuitton as the Creative Director in 1998 he introduced their first clothing and jewelry lines. In 2003 he collaborated with the Japanese designer Takashi Murakami to create their inspired chic multi-colored monogram collection which proved to be wildly popular all over the planet.
Their standard of quality has not diminished with its high demand as they create all of its luxury leather goods, Prêt-a-porter (ready-to-wear), jewelry and accessories with the same painstaking perfection that they became famous for in the 1800s.
